I thought it was just mommy fatigue...

Lately I have been TIRED. I'm not talking about just a little bit sleepy, no, I am so tired all the time that if I close my eyes for longer then a minute I fall asleep. I have almost (and may actually have) fallen asleep multiple times at work lately. I don't really have a reason to be this fatigued. Makenna generally sleeps really good the nights Michael is at work, and the nights he is home he gets up with her in the night... Well 3 weeks ago I went to the doctor for my usual check-up. They drew my blood and did all the usually check-upy things. They said my blood work should be back in 5-7 buisness days. I got busy and totally forgot to check to see if they were back yet. Then yesterday I got a letter asking me to call my doctor about my results. It turns out that my B-12 level is pretty darn low. The big symptom of a low B-12 is fatigue. It can also cause diarrhea or constipation, and if it gets critically low it can cause neuropathy. I have to get shots for 3 weeks and I got the 1st one today. It's only been about 6 hours since the shot and I already feel a TON better and I have much more energy. I had forgotten what it felt like to not be dragging myself around like a zombie! So the moral of the story is: If you feel more tired then you think you should, GO TO THE DOCTOR! There could be something up other then sleep deprivation...

My little chatterbox

Makenna turning 7 months old threw me for a (small) loop. Makenna starting to crawl (the day after she turned 7 months) threw me for a (medium sized) loop. There are no words to describe the size of the loop I was thrown for when my 7 month old (and 1 week) said a full sentance!! Yes, she said a full sentance. Craziness! She said "I want Mama!!" Clear as day. Michael and I both heard it! The rational part of my brain was telling me that she didn't really say it, we just heard sounds that could have sounded like those words. But now in 3 days it has become clear that she WAS saying those words. Since Sunday she has said I want Mama/dada multiple times. She is also calling Rylie "gog" and said "goggy" last night. Today she told me no. She has also said "yeah" many times answering questions. I have to tell ya, it is really weird hearing my 7 month old talk, but at the same time it is freaking awesome! I've been trying to get a video of it, but every single time I pull my phone out she totally clams up. The other really cute thing she has been doing lately is saying vowels the whole time we're in the car. All we hear is "aaa aaa aaa aaa" "eee eee eee ee" etc... SO FREAKING CUTE! I love this kid so much! She is a joy!

7 months old already?!?

That's right! It has been 7months since we welcomed Makenna into our lives! She is such a happy and fun baby girl! Since today was her 7 month birthday, and Michael worked last night, she got to sleep in the bed with me last night. I rolled over at 3am and opened my eyes. She was on her hands and knees and had her face right in my face. When she saw my eyes open, she leaned forward even more and said "Mama!" and gave me a huge gummy smile!! She is still only saying a few words and isn't crawling forward yet. She can crawl side to side and backwards. She is already trying to stand up! Enjoy this video!
