A Funny funny e-mail

This is an e-mail Michael forwarded to me. I loved it! Enjoy!

Maxine for congress!! Or Queen!!

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately: illegal immigration,BP oil spill, and alligators attacking people in Florida.

Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a Win-Win situation.

+Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.

+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.

+ Put the Florida Alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

Any other problems you would like me to solve today? Yes!

Think about these:

1. Cows
2. The constitution
3. The Ten Commandments

COWS:
Is it just me or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost 3 years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

THE CONSTITUTION:
They keep talking about drafting a constitution for Iraq.... Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by alot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS:
The real reason we can't have The Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post 'Thou Shalt not steal,' 'Thou Shalt Not commit adultry,' and 'Thou Shalt not Lie' in a building full of Lawyers, Judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.

The small things...

I love night shift, but sometimes when there is a rough night, it seems like 7am is just never going to come.... but then it never fails, something turns the night around. Tonight I was having to spend alot of time with a patient and the following conversation happened:

Patient: You are so wonderful.
Me: Awww, Thank you for saying that!
Patient: No really, I think I love you!
Me: Well... you'll have to fight my husband for me.
Patient: No... There would be no good in doing that.... I'm old!

I know it's a small thing, but for some reason it totally made my night!

Save Save Save... and then cook!

I Decided I am going to start Smart shopping, ya know hitting up sales and using coupons. Well I didn't get too many coupons this time but I totally saved $!!! We saved $96.55!! YAY!

Mostly canned goods shelve. Misc. Shelve. The rice in the back was $0.99 each! Talk about a deal! Drink shelve. The sodas were buy 2 get 2 free and the gatorades were BOGO. Everything together.
Then last night I cooked some very yummy food. I made George Foreman grilled bbq chicken breast with steamed squash, zucchini, and onions on the side. MMMM mmmm good!!

Our trip to Milwaukee

Our Impala!!

BirdThe Happy Newlyweds!Beautiful Sky over the lake!Us at Lake MichiganThe Comforter we boughtMy new haircut! Our horrible super 8 room!Good room in WisconsinOur Awesome Room in Wisconsin!
Our First Room in Panama City On the 31st we flew out to Milwaukee for Marisa and Jordan's wedding! Marisa is our cousin, well Michael's cousin, but I'm claiming her for my own! The wedding wasn't until 9/3 but we decided to make a whole vacation out of it!
On the 30th we drove to Panama City Beach to stay the night so we wouldn't have to get up so early for our 9:13 flight in the morning. We stayed in the Country Inn & Suites! And it was Sweet!! We had an extra large Jacuzzi room! It was so nice! We loved it!
The next Morning we woke up at 6am, packed up, and drove to the airport. The new airport is soooo nice! And small! Which I loved because it was easy to get around! Our first plane was teeny tiny and we had a rough flight. We flew through some storms so it wasn't too fun. Luckily we were only flying to Atlanta. Our next plane was bigger and the flight was great! Until the landing.... it was a ROUGH landing, but we were in Milwaukee!!
We picked up our rental car and the lady at the desk gave us a discount because Michael's credit card is a Packers card. As we walked away Michael told me he always knew the card would come in handy! Our car was a 2011 Chevy Impala!! It was amazing!
Then we got to our hotel... this is where I totally utterly failed.... While using priceline to book our trip I stupidly chose a Super 8.... but it wasn't entirly my fault.... the pictures were completely misleading!! We got to our room and it was sooooo nasty! There was bottle caps on the floor and it smelled very musty and gross! So I called priceline and they said they couldn't do anything until we talked to the hotel. So we went to the front desk and told them how unhappy we were with the room. So they moved us to a bigger room. Michael convinced me to try it for a night. But I had my conditions. We went to target and bought a new comforter and pillows. Then I was willing to stay the night. That night I got up to use the bathroom (which was smaller then a portapotty.... and portapottys are cleaner I think) and a HUGE spider crawled across my foot! I woke Michael up and told him I would not be staying there again. In the morning we called Priceline back and we got a new hotel but we had to stay in that one for one more night since it was past check out time.
The next day we helped Marisa set up the reception hall and then we went to our new hotel... a Country Inn & Suites!! YAY!!!! We had another Jacuzzi room and it was GREAT!!! We went to the rehearsal and dinner which was good and yummy!
The next morning I got my hair cut.... I had 15 inches cut off!! :-( But Micheal loves it and it is cute!
Then it was wedding time!! It was a beautiful wedding and I got to meet tons of family! Marisa was so pretty!
The next day we went to the gift opening which was awesome! and then the next day we went to the zoo and then dinner with Busia. Busia is Michael's grandma. It was soo yummy! That night we went to Aunt Lisa's house and played apples to apples and spoons! Spoons was intense but so much fun!
We didn't go to sleep that night since we had to be at the airport by 4:45 the next morning for our 6:30 flight.
We flew from Milwaukee to Memphis, and then Memphis to Panama City. The flights were both really good.
Then we drove to Dothan to visit my grandma and my uncle, Brandy, her boys, and my new cousin! It was a great visit and then we drove home.
Well, that's about it!
